When it comes to the needs of treatment for addiction here in Oregon, it is clear there is a clear need for treatment options. We found Oregon’s need for treatment that is unmet is considerable higher than the national average!

Specifically, Oregon has 8.8% of the teen and adult population needing and not receiving treatment for substance use disorders at addiction treatment centers.

Serenity Lane is a drug rehab in Oregon that offers the opportunity to detox safely and effectively. Our inpatient and outpatient treatment models utilize evidence-based modalities.

We are experts in addiction treatment working to improve the availability of quality treatment care in the state of Oregon for over 50 years!

Transforming Lives for 50 Years

With fifty years of experience, Serenity Lane’s mission is to transform lives through the treatment of addiction. We believe that recovery from addiction is possible.

Our commitment is to provide excellent patient care, be sensitive to the needs of our patients, affirm the dignity and worth of our patients and their families, foster a spirit of partnership with the communities we serve, coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, and empower patients and their families to grow in their recovery.

The disease of addiction affects the entire family, not just the substance user. Quite often family members do not realize how deeply they have been affected by chemical dependency. Family involvement is an important component of recovery.

Alcohol and drug addiction is a disease that progresses through predictable stages. It takes a trained health professional, often a doctor specializing in addiction medicine, to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the most appropriate treatment.

Ideally, a provider will offer a range of services to treat a patient throughout their recovery process. The more levels of care offered, the more comprehensive and individualized treatment you will receive.

Drug addiction could be one of the worst public health crises in the state of Oregon. In the last decade, the state has continually ranked among the highest in the nation for drug related statistics.

According to federal and state data, Oregon’s state rankings when compared to the rest of the nation regarding illicit drugs are:

  • 2nd for the percent of population reporting illicit drug use (19.97%)
  • 6th for Rx Opioid Misuse
  • 3rd for Cocaine Use

A Word from Our Master's Level Clinicians

We Provide a Full Continuum of Care

Alcohol Addiction Treatment

As a non-profit treatment center, Serenity Lane has been in Oregon for nearly 50 years, so we know that treatment isn’t a one size fits all package.

That is why we have developed specialized dual diagnosis programs to suit our clients’ needs, including medically assisted detoxification, trauma-informed care, and extended support programs for those struggling with chronic relapse.

In addition to residential treatment, we also offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP), Medically-Assisted Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP), and Virtual Addiction Treatment.

Traditional and Alternative Therapies

Alcohol addiction treatment is a multilayered problem that affects the whole body. As a result, many people that are going through treatment don’t have the healthiest habits.

At Serenity Lane, we believe in promoting an overall healthy lifestyle that includes healing through spirituality, physical health, and whole foods. Teaching our clients about health body, mind, and spirit enables them to live a celebratory life in recovery.

A Family-Focused Program

Addiction to alcohol or other drugs is an illness that has a profound effect on both the individual and his or her family members. Because the illness is insidious, the substance user’s life is affected physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

As a result, the entire family can get caught in the destructive progression of the disease. Serenity Lane’s Family Services are available throughout all levels of care and are some of the most extensive in the nation.

Our residential family program includes four family weekends where patients and family members work on repairing relationships, improving communication, and building a foundation for long-term recovery.
