Medical Director Overview:

Serenity Lane's Medical Director enjoys a great deal of autonomy, leading a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses—in collaboration with clinical and mental health providers—to deliver excellent care in the Pacific Northwest’s premier, non-profit treatment facility.

Our residential treatment center, a 15-acre parcel with a view of the Coburg hills, includes 22 beds in a licensed withdrawal management facility and 96 residential beds. Since 2016, this peaceful, state-of- the-art campus—combined with a world-class staff—has created a resort-like atmosphere where people find recovery in an integrated program. The Medical Director is a primary shepherd of our treatment philosophy.

Serenity Lane has been providing treatment in Oregon since 1973. Our mission is to transform lives through the treatment of addiction. We believe that recovery from addiction is possible. We employ over 200 people throughout our system, which includes a residential treatment program in Coburg, Oregon, and seven outpatient facilities throughout Oregon. For 50 years, we have been leaders in the treatment field and our patient-centered, evidence based programming continues to be innovative.

Oregon is a wonderful place to live regardless of one’s season of life. It serves as a community-focused place to raise kids, providing access to so many family and enrichment activities. And for everyone, the abundant outdoor activities, as well as more cosmopolitan pursuits of the big city like performing arts and music festivals and extended education opportunities through the University of Oregon, make for a full life. With the mountains to the east and the coast to the west, you could hike in a volcanic forest and watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean all in the same day. From the downtown to nearby rural oases, there are housing options with easy commutes for all tastes.
