Chair
Mary joined the Serenity Lane Board. She is deeply committed to Serenity Lane’s mission, driven by a personal understanding of the pain that alcoholism and addiction inflict.
Mary attended at the University of Oregon (UO), and earned a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific. She spent her professional career working at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Eugene.

Vice Chair
Jens joined the Serenity Lane Board of Directors in the fall of 2022. He's a graduate of the University of Oregon. He has lived in Eugene for over 40 years and has been practicing law here since 1987. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and traveling, playing tennis, bicycling, skiing and hiking.

Treasurer
Dean is a graduate of Oregon State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1969, and is a United States Army veteran, serving on active duty from 1971 to 1973.
He spent 43 years at Pacific Continental Bank, where he served as Senior Vice President, Loan Officer and Customer Service. His career reflects extensive experience in finance, lending, and relationship management, along with a strong commitment to customer and community service.
Dean has been deeply involved in community leadership throughout his career. His service includes roles as United Way Board Member and Campaign Chair, 35 years with the Rotary Club, and over 20 years as a Kidsports coach and board member, including one year as Board Chair. He also served as Board Chair of the Lane County Fair Board.
He currently serves as Treasurer of the Eugene Civic Alliance and is an active board member of One Hope and Serenity Lane. He has been involved with Serenity Lane for eight years and currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee.

Secretary
Sr. Jane has been a member of the Sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary since 1964. She taught primary grades for 7 years and then served as an elementary school principal for the next 21 years. Following a sabbatical, she served on Holy Names leadership teams for 10 plus years.
Sr. Jane’s gifts are in pastoral administration with a focus on health and well-being of Sisters. She has appreciated her experience of recovery from addiction and desire to assist others in living full, productive lives.
In 2016, Sr. Jane was invited to consider the Pastoral Administrator position with the Benedictine Sisters of Mt. Angel and has been serving in this position for 8 years.

Antoinette has been with Cambia Health Solutions for over 15 years. Prior to joining Cambia, she served as a Senior Legislative Analyst at the American Council of Life Insurers in Washington, DC. Currently, as a Sr. Public and Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Cambia, she works closely with state regulators and partner organizations to influence regulations and rulemaking that govern commercial health payors. She also provides strategic support on legislative proposals and guides the company through implementation and compliance efforts.
Antoinette serves on three committees/programs at the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). They are the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Program, the Health Evidence Review Committee (HERC) Value-based Benefits Subcommittee (VbBS), and the Family Connects Oregon Nurse Home Visit Program. She also serves on the Boards of North by Northeast Community Health Center and Catholic Charities of Oregon. Outside of work and board commitments, Antoinette volunteers at her three children's —Simone (17), Zachary (14), and Lucas (12) schools and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She maintains an active lifestyle through walking, hiking, and strength training. Antoinette has been married to Blayne Green since 2007, whom she met at law school.
Antoinette immigrated to the United States with her parents and two sisters at the age of 11. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs/Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.

Dr. Edwards grew up and studied medicine in the Midwest. She moved to Portland, OR, in 1999 after being in practice in Chicago for four years. She came to OHSU to grow the Urogynecology Division, which only had one provider at the time. She has led the Center for Women's Health as its Co-Director and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for OHSU Health.

Dana Fleming is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with extensive experience supporting individuals on their journeys toward recovery and emotional well-being. She works with Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment (LCMAT) and maintains a private therapy practice. As a Serenity Lane alumna, she brings her lived experience to her work and has a deep passion for helping the alcoholic/addict who still suffers.
Originally from Hawai’i, she has lived in Eugene, Oregon, for the past 35 years, where she raised her family. She is a devoted mother, grandmother, and dog mom whose life experience, compassion, and belief in personal transformation shape her therapeutic approach and her commitment to the people she serves.

Born and raised in Oregon, Rick is a lifelong Oregonian from Hood River, OR. He received a BA in Literature from the University of Oregon in 1981 and went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1984. A retired attorney, Rick enjoys life with his spouse and two children.

Stan Kramer is the owner of QdobaOregon which owns and operates ten Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurants throughout Oregon.
Before relocating to Oregon and launching the business in 2010, Stan spent thirty years as a senior executive in the technology industry, holding leadership roles in both Silicon Valley and Boulder, Colorado.
Stan is a passionate advocate for recovery at every level and brings more than 48 years of personal recovery experience to his service on the Board.
He and his wife, Jeanie, live in Lake Oswego where they are active parishioners at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Stan has previously served on the Boards of Jesuit High School in Portland and Regis University in Denver.

Catherine has served as a Serenity Lane board member since 2025. She works in education at the Eugene 4J School District as a College and Career Counselor, where she supports high school students in post-graduation planning and preparation. Catherine holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.

Dave Swartley leads State Government Relations at U.S. Bank, responsible for directing a comprehensive political and public policy strategy across U.S. Bank’s national footprint. He works with governors, attorneys general, state legislators, staff, and other officials at state and local levels to promote the bank's interests. His work includes advocating company positions with governors, attorneys general, state legislators, staff and other state and local officials. His office is in the U.S. Bank Columbia Center, outside of Portland, Oregon.
Before joining U.S. Bank in 2014, he managed public policy initiatives for Bank of America across the Western United States.
With three decades of experience in banking, Dave serves on the boards of the Washington Bankers Association and Central City Concern. He also participates on government relations committees for various state bankers associations, business groups, and chambers of commerce nationwide.
Dave graduated from the University of Oregon. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, running, and cheering for the Oregon Ducks. He has been married to his wife Tracy for 25 years, and they have two adult children.
