The following inpatient/residential and outpatient treatment programs are available for adults, 18 years of age & older:
Residential treatment at Serenity Lane provides stabilization and crisis intervention, as well as around the clock medically supervised detoxification. Counseling and individual therapy sessions help patients as they deal with the complex issues of chemical dependency. Our Residential Treatment program is 28 days long. The program provides intensive group therapy, individual counseling and education about the disease of addiction.
Medically Supported Withdrawal (Detox) Treatment:
Serenity Lane’s medical staff carefully monitors patients to ensure a safe withdrawal from alcohol and/or drugs. Medical treatment is individualized; therefore the length of stay in the hospital will vary. The nursing staff, physician, psychiatrist and assigned counselors work together to develop a specific treatment plan. Once the patient’s medical condition has stabilized, the physician will arrange for transfer to the residential treatment program.
Under this program we offer naltrexone (Vivitrol) and buprenorphine (Suboxone) for maintenance to all patients with an opioid use disorder. The decision between use of naltrexone (Vivitrol) or buprenorphine (Suboxone) for maintenance is patient-centered and always combined with therapeutic and wellness programming. *This level of care is currently only available for patients enrolled in our residential program.
Serenity Lane’s new Day Treatment Program, also known as partial hospitalization, is the highest level of substance use disorder care after Inpatient Residential Treatment. Day Treatment is a great option for individuals looking for a comprehensive treatment program that allows them to balance the demands of personal and professional life.
Serenity Lane offers two levels of outpatient programming at seven locations throughout Oregon.
Serenity Lane’s Level II Outpatient program is ten-weeks of intensive, comprehensive treatment that includes group therapy, individual counseling and education about the disease of addiction. Treatment groups meet for three hours three times per week.
Following Outpatient Treatment, Recovery Support is provided on a weekly basis for 44 weeks or longer. Patients meet for a 1 1/2 hour weekly session to learn to identify and manage stressful life events and incorporate relapse prevention techniques.
The Extended Residential Program at Serenity Lane is a long-term treatment program that focuses on a therapeutic community for the healing and support of recovering addicts who are prone to relapse or patients who are required to undergo a specified duration of treatment (examples: safety occupations, healthcare professionals).
Our Addiction-Free Pain Management™ program is a 14-week course which, when combined with residential/outpatient chemical dependency treatment, improves the quality of recovery for the addict coping with chronic pain.
For family members of Serenity Lane patients. It is an educational program that focuses on repairing relationships that have suffered because of the destructive nature of chemical dependency.
