Oregon’s drug crisis has hit home, and it’s hitting hard. In 2024, nearly 1,480 Oregonians lost their lives to overdose, down 22% from 2023, but still far above pre-pandemic levels.
Too often, help arrives only after the worst has happened. Serenity Lane is working to change that by bringing proactive, compassionate care closer to home. Established in 1973, our CARF‑accredited programs connect clients with evidence-based treatment options – from medically supervised detox to outpatient and PHP services accessible to those near Wilsonville. Our goal is to interrupt isolation, provide real-time support, and foster a recovery community that lifts every one of its members, before crisis strikes.
The first step in many recovery journeys is detoxification. For Wilsonville clients, Serenity Lane offers medical detox at our inpatient facility in Portland West, Oregon. Under 24/7 clinical supervision, individuals receive medical monitoring, emotional support, and symptom management in a safe, stable environment. Our team ensures a smooth, supportive experience, paving the way for a strong start to recovery.
Our residential campus, located in Portland West, provides an immersive healing environment for individuals who require structure and a respite from daily stressors. Just a short drive from Wilsonville, the inpatient program offers round-the-clock care, trauma-informed therapy, dual diagnosis support, and a strong recovery community. Clients benefit from personalized treatment plans that focus on long-term growth, rather than just symptom relief.
Serenity Lane’s outpatient program is designed for individuals who require structured support while managing the demands of daily life. This level of care enables clients to live at home and continue to fulfill work, school, or family responsibilities while making progress in their recovery. Whether you're transitioning from a higher level of care or starting treatment for the first time, Serenity Lane’s outpatient program offers a steady path forward, rooted in compassion, accountability, and long-term healing.
For Wilsonville residents who are balancing recovery with daily responsibilities, Serenity Lane’s outpatient services offer flexible care close to home. Available through our West Portland and Salem locations, the level 1 outpatient program includes weekly therapy, group sessions, recovery education, and relapse prevention. Day and evening options make it easier to stay engaged in care without disrupting your daily life.
Our level 2 intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides clients with more structure and support than standard outpatient care, while maintaining flexibility for work and home life. Held at our West Portland and Salem locations, this program includes several group sessions per week, individual therapy, and skills training in emotional resilience and relationship healing. For Wilsonville clients transitioning out of inpatient care or managing early recovery, IOP is a powerful next step.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP), also known as Day Treatment, is Serenity Lane’s highest level of outpatient care. It’s ideal for clients who need structured, daily programming but don’t require residential treatment. PHP is available to Wilsonville-area residents through our Portland West facility, offering therapeutic services five days a week, including individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation. PHP fosters stability and forward momentum in a safe and healing environment.

Addiction doesn’t look the same for everyone, and neither should recovery. At Serenity Lane, we tailor each treatment plan to the person, not just the diagnosis. Backed by decades of outcomes data and clinical expertise, our programs provide evidence-based care for alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and prescription drug use. Each path is built around your individual needs, goals, and support system.
Explore some of our key services for clients living in or near Wilsonville:
Alcohol remains one of the most commonly misused substances in Oregon. At Serenity Lane, our alcohol treatment services begin with medical detox when needed and progress into residential or outpatient care. We combine trauma-informed therapy, relapse prevention education, and compassionate support to help clients safely stop drinking and rebuild a healthy life.
Heroin dependence is intense – physically, emotionally, and socially. That’s why our heroin addiction program offers medically supervised detox, MAT options, and long-term behavioral therapy. Clients participate in both individual and group sessions, focusing on developing resilience, emotional insight, and effective recovery strategies.
Meth use can take a significant toll on the brain and body. At Serenity Lane, we approach meth recovery with trauma-informed, whole-person care. Clients learn about brain healing, engage in therapeutic support, and develop the skills necessary for emotional regulation, social reconnection, and sustained long-term sobriety.
Fentanyl’s extreme potency and widespread availability make it a particularly dangerous opioid. Our programs for fentanyl addiction combine medical detox, MAT when appropriate, relapse prevention strategies, and aftercare planning – giving clients the tools to take back control and stay safe.
Drugs like Xanax and Ativan may be prescribed for anxiety or sleep, but long-term use or misuse can create serious trouble. Our benzodiazepine treatment plans include careful tapering (when needed), alternative therapies for managing symptoms, and long-term support to promote stability without reliance on medication.
Recovery is about more than breaking free from substance use. It’s about rebuilding a stable, supported life. For Wilsonville residents, local organizations offer vital help with food, housing, mental health care, and day-to-day needs. These services can ease the pressure while you or a loved one focuses on healing.
