Serenity Lane near Milwaukie offers structured and supportive inpatient treatment, allowing individuals to fully focus on recovery. A personalized plan addresses substance use and co-occurring mental health needs through therapy, education, and community support. Lasting 30-60 days, this immersive care provides a safe space to reset and rebuild.
Serenity Lane’s Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment program in Albany is a ten-week program of group therapy, individual counseling and education about the disease of addiction and substance use disorders. Treatment groups meet three times a week for three hours. We offer morning and evening groups to accommodate your work schedule. The family support group meets Monday’s from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Level I Outpatient treatment is provided on a weekly basis either as a continuation of programming after Level II has been completed or as a stand-alone level of care, depending upon the patient’s needs.
Patients in Level I outpatient treatment meet weekly for between 12 and 24 months. In this level of care, patients (and their spouse/ significant other) meet for a one or two 1-1/2 hour weekly sessions. In this treatment program patients learn to identify and manage stressful life events and to cope with the inevitable ups and downs of early recovery. Programming consists of some group therapy and individual and family sessions with the patient’s primary counselor.
12 to 24 months after completion of outpatient treatment. Patients (and their spouse/ significant other) meet for a 1-1/2 hour weekly session to learn to identify and manage stressful life events and to cope with the inevitable ups and downs of early recovery.
Serenity Lane’s DUII education and diversion programs are certified by the state of Oregon and fulfill all court and DMV requirements. We offer DUII services at all 9 of our outpatient locations.

At Serenity Lane, our outpatient programs provide the support needed for recovery while maintaining your daily life. We offer two outpatient options: Intensive Outpatient Programming (Level 2 IOP), and General Outpatient Programming (Level 1 IOP).
Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers structured morning or evening sessions three times a week, ideal for more intensive care while balancing responsibilities. Our General Outpatient Program, on the other hand, has weekly check-ins for ongoing support as you progress.

Our Day Treatment Program, or partial hospitalization, offers intensive, full-day care five to seven days a week for individuals needing more support after inpatient treatment or a short stay.
